Samacca, I think that was his name, never seemed to fit for some reason, doesn't look a bad player...but like you say playing 1 up front abd sitting on your own box is fuckung hard work, not many would do it!! I think the lad has had a rough old time of it mate and it’s been pretty nasty to watch…..that said, some of his defending is absolutely schoolboy ! Mistakes so basic it’s unbelievable. I personally don’t think he should have stayed in England, he needed a clean slate……what he will get with us is a shit load of relentless pressure week in, week out. Its not a bad signing but it’s definitely not a positive signing, if it gos right everyone will be like “fantastic, great stuff” but if it’s gos wrong it will be absolutely terrible for all concerned. I think the lad has real guts, he has shown it at Man U and I think him coming to us shows that too…..

The end justifying the means ? Cheers. Depends how match you care about the football I suppose mate. After all, Sunderland won a cup once…..who wants to be them ?

I think the lad has real guts, he has shown it at Man U and I think him coming to us shows that too….. Maguire for me is a top defender, you don't get to captain England without being a top player. He doesn't suit what Manu are trying to do with playing out from back hence why they have let DeGea go for free when he has been player of season 5 of last 7 seasons and won golden glove in Prem last season. TenHag is ruthless and wants a certain way, that doesn't make Harry a bad player. I think at WestHam he will be a great signing. Consider for England he is still performing at a higher level than club performances. Given the market at the minute 20-30m for him is a good buy IMO. By the way 85m for Kane to go to Germany is a steal and a joke!!!! He shouldn't go.
WILF 46,809
Anyone been watching the womens World Cup ? Caught a few games and some of them have been outstanding displays of football. As regards individual performances I watched the Columbia N0.9 give an absolute masterclass in how to play as a centre forward the other day, I think it was against Germany……it was absolutely top class. Australia are also playing some technically brilliant football. Just watching England v Columbia, it’s a right scrap…..very entertaining stuff. This one will get won ugly.

Sorry mate, but I don’t agree that he is a “top defender”, jmho but he isnt even close. Thats not to say he is a bad player but nothing like top class. Quote He doesn't suit what Manu are trying to do with playing out from back hence why they have let DeGea go for free when he has been player of season 5 of last 7 seasons and won golden glove in Prem last season. TenHag is ruthless and wants a certain way, that doesn't make Harry a bad player. He isn’t good enough for what Ten Haag wants to build is my guess mate, I don’t think Ten Haag wants to just compete, I think he wants to make them the best team in England again and you won’t do that with players like Maguire…..again, jmho Quote I think at WestHam he will be a great signing. He will be a typical signing is what he will be mate, the same thing we have been doing for decades. Quote Consider for England he is still performing at a higher level than club performances. He does well for England but he does get more protection in a Southgate team. Quote Given the market at the minute 20-30m for him is a good buy IMO. Fair Quote By the way 85m for Kane to go to Germany is a steal and a joke!!!! He shouldn't go. I think it’s fantastic !…..lol Edited August 12, 2023 by WILF

Winning a trophy playing, if we are honest, mostly shit teams whilst playing equally as shit football may be a cause for celebration but it don’t make our football any good. Celebrate by all means but let’s not call a ham Sandwhich a steak dinner a ? I may be out of touch with “real fans” but I know what a game of football looks like. Some lads just watch for the entertainment and that’s fine, I don’t begrudge them that….most of them wouldn’t know a low block from an attacking overload and again that’s fine. If you are going all Max on me and insisting this is the best ever and it don’t get better than this then there’s just no taking to you mate. What did you think of the Leverkusen game ? No offence buddy but if someone offered you a European cup win just before the move you would of took it and called it progress when it happened your playing shite teams moyses is playing to his squads strengths has kept you up yes it's not man city style but your European champions and still in the premiership not bad for a little club

Yes I’d have took that, without a doubt and I’m happy with it. As I said before, time will tell if I’m talking out of my arse.

Lol I think Ward Prowse is a really good buy as well mate, he's a proper midfielder, you ain't replacing Rice obviously...but he's decent.. Typical Moyes style, but I fancied Brighton before the game and Moyes really done a job on them yesterday...credit where its due

I think we managed a premier league record yesterday, second lowest amount of passes in the first half in the entire history of the premier league….31 to be exact !!! 3 games and 3 very decent results…..Moyse is a genius now ! Lol Makes me laugh really, everyone hated Big Fat Sam and his anti football style but Moyse anti football style is now the best thing since sliced bread. Our goal keeper had to be man of the match because he made 9 saves yesterday some of them absolutely top class. I personally loath Moyse and his shit style of football, but I guess let’s see how far playing on the edge of your own box all season takes us…..see if I have been talking out of my arse. Utd game was a good one, I reckon it’s a good measure of what Ten Haag has done that you went 2 goals down quick but upped the level and won it…..that’s a good sign that. Was down watching my lad play his first full adult game today, pre season friendly…..he is 15 and I was a little bit jealous thinking “you have 20 years of playing in front of you” lol

Antonio was brilliant yesterday he was a constant menace ... yeah and Bowens 2 touches and finish were brilliant... Good start as you say and you know what you'll always get with Moyes, I guess every side cant play the same way mate... UTD needed that yesterday, the performance after the 2 goals was very good...need this new striker fit cause we ain't got one, get rid of Martial now... Bruno dragged them to a win yesterday, real captains performance... Hate to say it, but Spurs are looking good as well...what a difference Maddison has made to that team..
