It to me was sensory bombardment,...I absolutely hated it

Sadly my senses were dulled a long time ago,I no longer experience sensory overload or culture shock,I just accept it for what it is,saw a guy fighting a rubbish collector at 3am in Times Square throwing rubbish all over the place and shouting “Get me a f***ing taxi” I just accepted it as part of New York.

I love old buildings and the architecture, dressed stonework, box sash windows etc,i find it interesting how they wernt just knocked up,but crafted by folks with a  real skill...but there is no better feeling than being out in the wilderness/countryside...dont even need to be hunting..just going for a walk releases any tension and stress??

I love mountains, real mountains, not british hills but decent peaks with glacial valleys and real peaks, sharp air and altitude.

Walk at Bolberry Down today put a bit about it in fishing section as I used to fish under these cliffs.

Looking down at a small cove called Soar Mill Cove you cant quite see the sand.
