neither of you  know what your on about . To give you some scope the commander general of the American forces in the pacific  in world war 2 enlisted in 1899 if I remember correctly . That’s the longevity required to reach the rarified atmosphere of general. The uk army has three at the minute .

I have never bothered who runs what mate .I do the best for my family and that’s that .It seems to me the ones who think they are hard done by are the ones who can’t come to terms with being solo.

what about something like a major stiff how many working class kids have become majors in the army mate

Goverment dont run the world, there puppets on a string,they do as there told by the big corporations, the money men they run the physical world mate, but i understand what you mean

Im more than happy with what i got, material things mean nothing to me,id live in a shed in a field if i could lol
