Had to move my youngest daughter and the baby back in with me as she couldn’t afford to live. She was barely surviving. My peaceful quiet life is gone but this little angel makes up for that ?

Come March the government is drastically cutting the help it is giving businesses towards energy bills. I can see a lot having to close down that are struggling now. What a sad state of affairs !

is that not part of their plan? kill off small businesses,so it's only the big corporations left...we won't own f**k all but will have 5 g and deliveroo?

If you think back, All the small independent Energy suppliers were taken out first. Does make you wonder, More so when you see the wholesale prices for energy falling week on week, yet bills are rising at the same time.

So back to the energy prices ?

I'm gonna get more solar panels 13 x 410w Hyundai panels and all the bits £6000 which is less than 6 months Lecky at the mo. That will give me over 9kw of power, lets see how that goes.

Got some more blankets and thick socks too.

Joking aside and that does sound like a good idea. We have been planning something similar and I'm not joking.

Our 9kw shower has been used less by me over the last few weeks. I am now relying on the sniff test before I use it ?

My son has a 3kw radiator in his room, which he isn't using at all. A calculation of 69p per kwh over 24 hours using that radiator would work out £49.68 per day!  I know the radiator use is intermittent, but it gives you an idea of costing.
