Browning Shotgun

Recommended Posts

Hi

I was at the gun shop on Saturday to see what sort of gun I could afford. I was shown a Lanber Sport gun £550 new.

A medalist £750 (new) but he then gave me a BROWNING 525 Advance 28" M/C. I was impressed  I think it was Grade 2.5 not sure what that means. It felt brilliant fairly light beautiful pistol grip etc. etc.

Has anyone got one of these guns as I did'nt ask him if it was steel proof or if I could shoot magnums? They were asking around £1100 :o for this gun.

The browning 525 is an excellent weapon anywhere around 2000 euro for such, if you look after it, it'll not let you down, oil, clean etc..

i have the browning gold fusion s/a and would not part with it. good luck hope you get one you won't be disapointed.

even though the price would make ye

Thanks Snap Shot,

I have handled a few guns and this is the 1st gun I really felt like definately buying. It just felt a snug fit with nice lift and balance. I think I may have to buy on terms, ie need to put application to the wife to be passed for purchase. :D

Knifebar, did you ever hear of the term SPOUSE ADJUSTED CURRENCY all you do is thinkof a figure she will accept and tell her that's what it costs......... :icon_eek::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper: THEN HAPPY DAYS.

Never did but I think it's going to get its maiden voyage here. Although I have her "trapped". She wants to go on a Hen Weekend with some friends and she asked would it be OK, all I could think of was "CHECK MATE" or "BORWNING 525".
