Elmerfudd 5
Hi all, I've just joined this site hoping to get useful information from experienced shooters to save me making the same old mistakes. I've been shooting for over 20 yrs, all sorts from foxes with a .222, rimfire, clay pigeon and target shooting. I guess I've been set in my ways and stuck by air rifles as my own weapons of choice, mainly for reasons of shear laziness. (Licences etc) But the time has come. With ever increasing land to shoot over and our own smallholding with chickens and things, it's time to step it up a gear. I have just printed out and filled in my sgc form, got permission from she who should be obeyed to fritter away the hard earned and even persuaded her that our new black lab pup will be a perfect gundog! I will start trawling the forums in a bit to ask questions individually, but if anyone reading this knows about: Training gundogs Buying a first shotgun for less than £300 What can .410's actually be used for? Or anything else relevant or helpful, info would be gladly recieved! Thanks
