I find it great, just sitting in a cafe with a cup of tea sometimes, this time of year, watching people bustling about, panicking, stressing about what they've bought, who they've forgot to buy for etc etc lol.

I get a smug, warm, glowy feeling, knowing that I've had it all in order before october!!  ?

I think what a tight old Cnut grandad is would be what they would take away from that experience as opposed to fond memory’s ?

Just because it's Christmas, some folks still need to be cared for, they Dunna stop needing care even at this time of year, my daughter is a carer in the community, so she will be working over Christmas , so Christmas Eve, she is coming to stay with me, ok I only have a one bedroomed flat, goes without saying, settee will do fer me, I shall be making her a good breakfast Christmas morning, then she will be off to work, then back mine for Christmas dinner, she has not long been to visit me, the presents she has bought be, stacks of em, I'm bound to say this , cos she's my daughter , but I'm so proud of her and the way she's turned out in life ,I'd had enough when my two wives passed, she's given me a reason to live ,I Dunna want sympathy from anyone, .certainly not an attention seekers, not many years back, I had no worries life was great, next min, bang, moral of this little outburst, Live each day as your last,. Merry Christmas to you.all
