jok 3,221
Just got back from the above. To say ‘moving’ would be a gross understatement. The Church was rammed as was the Greenyards Stand. (Melrose Rugby Football Ground). National television were present as was Sky News. The service lasted just over 1. 1/2 hours which included 3 eulogies from some true greats. If I was to guess, the amount of people attending was around 2000 on the ground with many more watching from around the world. The Doddie Wier Foundation was set up to encourage further research into MND. Doddie, single handedly, forced people in high places to release an unprecedented amount of money to continue this research. It is estimated that 1/300 people suffer from this horrible disease.would of you Techno’s on here free some of the clips/ videos or picures from the service to a, explain what this MND IS AND B, SEE IF WE CAN as a collective help this cause in any way? Watch the vids etc if they come up. Thank you. Jok.
