Had a go on here this morning using just hemp and tares . Had absolutely loads of roach and a couple of skimmers mainly on the pole but also had a few on an old dam quickstick swing tip rod I bought last week

Evening down the Kennet canal few wasps this was best of five...

Well done mate , I gave the canal a good bash tonight solo. Got into it with a small yellow jighead caught a dozen wasps then a decent jack that bit me off gonna get some light traces for next week...

Probably 25 years ago from just behind the church mate used to do a 140 mile round trip for an overnighter 20ib canal carp were hard to find back then first time I encountered signal crayfish there

They're lumps , yep I fished behind the church Wednesday, I'll probably go there again this week , with traces on, theres plenty of jacks and we've had one bigger pike follow in...
