Is that near Kidderminster like concrete bowls on the hillside, if so fished it years ago kept awake all night by the sika screaming in the woods behind me has some nice carp out including grasses my lad was about 14/15 at the time he’s 30 now

My peace has been shattered my lad and his mates have just tipped up

Lad had these on a 9 ft feeder rod,using a 20 g maggot feeder, helicopter style....hooked and was playing a decent little ghost carp but  it smashed his 4lb hooklink to bits right at the net his top lip started going

Excuse the shape on my head....was flatout sleeping when I had a 1 tonerended up with 9 fish,biggest went 15lb 4 oz

This little lake gets busy weekends/in the holidays with the local youngsters,they are a good bunch of kids tbf,keeps them all out of trouble ,we had a few of the korda lads over last weekend,brought a shitload of free gear,rods, reels,line,bait, sunglasses etc,for a competition for the  under 16's...young lad won it with a 25 lb common and a 19 lb mirror,first prize was a spot on the welsh team,everyone who entered had free Polaroid glasses,baseball caps,5 kilos of bait,buckets,rig wallets etc.

Been down the canal after work with my lad,after some jack pike to put into this little pond,make a dent in all the little silvers....my boy caught this one on a lure almost as big,it weighed 1lb 2 ozs....gonna need a few more me thinks

Had a lake booked out for 4 of us end of last month for 48hrs my mate fell on the fish having a 29lb grassie and three cats 22lb, 47lb and the biggest 68lb

What lake mate? My lads nagging me for a catfish....had planned to hit the Ebro this yr,but Im flatout workwise till xmas at the minute

DC. I was on here the other day reference catfish. I thought the pics showed a place near Tamworth. I was wrong. However, it transpires that a fishery near here called Fisherwick has 2 lakes, one a specimen lake with cats to 70 lbs. Might be worth a gander. Jok.

Fisherwick is my mates place the runs water is a blast carp to 20 and cats to 40 I will be taking my grandson up for a night or two later in the year Sean and if you want to bring your boy along you are more than welcome came back from up there did a short day on there and had a small cat dropped one and a 17ib mirror but it is a fair jaunt from you if you want something closer to home this place is in the forest mate fished it once years ago but never had cats in then
