I’m down again now for the last time and was expecting it to be busy but nobody is near the swim . Just had 4 and lost one and 2 were doubles at 10.11 and 10.14

Just been done in a snag so dropped to one rod . Had 2 doubles and 2 in the 6-8lb range . Got another 2 hours before we need to be off and it’s probably the last barbel session of the season

Rivers are closing soon thats why mate. Come when they re open every man and his dog will be out. Lol.

That's a nice looking fish the bottom one look at the blood red colour stunning.

Down on the Calder for a few hours with the stickfloat and centerpin before it shuts tomorrow . Had some chub and grayling plus a few out of season brownies . This is the best one , thought it might make 2lb so I weighed it but it went 1.14

Some lovely fish above chaps, I'm taking kids to a local pond tomorrow, got some maggots earlier , will have one on the whip and the other likes rod and reel but not sure yet whether I set up a float rod or a leger/feeder. Quite looking forward,  all I've done in the last year is mess about with plastic lures so be good to catch a bit more lol
