It did look decent so I weighed it and couldn’t believe it was only 6.9 . I ended up with 3 decent chub and 5 barbel , the biggest was a new pb of 11,7

Down on the ribble again with a mate and it’s been brilliant . We’ve had 7 barbel and a chub so far in 2 hours including 2 double hook ups and a new pb of 11.14 for me and a 9.12 for my mate

I've not been near a river after barbel for months might dust my rods off this weekend, before the season ends..

It’s going mental . Just after posting my mate had a double and another straight away on the recast and I’ve just had another about 6 . We’ve had 10 barbel and a chub so far

We finished with 14 barbel and 3 chub plus a few that came off in about 4-1/2 hours fishing

🫣 You had owt mate no it's dead f**k all about. You'll be going back week after swim will be taken. It was an old chap that told me that. Lol. When lads walking past. You had owt no its dead .
