My 14yr old been at the lake this weekend...had it all to himself,No one about with the temperature drop..a couple  he managed out....and one I had yesterday from his swim,after he let me jump in it for an hr

Mate  ,he  been fishing that spot at night  for 2 days,then fishing the bay in daylight hrs on zigs and bread....I told him not to movehe primed the swim for me with bait ( little f****r took 10 kilo of my stuff with him) I dropped a single pop up in the margin....sat down to roll a fag....one toner

His face was a picture when I shouted 'Get me the net son'

He tells me I'm a shit angler..If I'm about he makes mistakes . .so he's better off doing his own thing

In fairness to him ,He's a good all-rounder ,cut his teeth on the river wye...I showed him the basics...and just let him crack on..he can watch something once,and then  he's tying slip D's,Ronnie's,chod rigs etc.. only thing he concentrates on other than his bikes,keeps him out of trouble ,so it's all good

My eldest lads the same DC, claims he's a better angler than me and he only fcks up when I am watching him . He has turned into a decent angler to be fair and he started driving this year so is hitting it pretty hard.
