Always Walked out from a job in the morning.. and started another before that day was done ...depends on the sort of skills and work you can do?

Im in work now, well not at this moment, but Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, gets me out the flat fer a few hrs, stops me from going a bit tapped meeting people having a chat n a laugh

Few lads at work work for a middle man delivering and collecting parcels on 100 notes a day self employed they are in the depot at 6 am and most day's it's nearly 6pm when they get back one of them is

Do you get health care when you sign up for a job?

How about holiday entitlement?

Are unions big where you are or in your job? Is it worth belonging to a union?

Can you live decently on your pay?

When do you get to retire and what are pension rates?

It's interesting to compare.

We have state pensions which in my case is worth £ 600 a month in my hand. You have to be 67 to draw your pension and have done 30 years work.

Most peoples' pay over here has taken a big hit with the financial crisis and inflation and is worth a lot  less. Virtually the whole of the public sector are taking part in strikes.

It a depends on the job honestly honestly bud. No universal anything really.

You do have social security @60 and I think that's like $1200 a month or something like that.

But Evey business worse different as far as retirement, days off ,vacation, union non union ECT. Other then the time it takes to get hired it's nice because you can job hope till you find something your like/ prefer

Construction is not really respected in the USA from what I’ve seen

No but can be well paid DEPENDING. You have small contractors that are easy to get in with but your not gonna get paid too much for a while . Them theirs the big guys that are pretty regulated and pay well but their ..... Tricky.

I’ve always been the same dc never really struggled with getting work to be honest many a times jacked on a Friday morning to have something lined up to do by Friday afternoon ready for a start first thing Monday morning that’s what I like about the building type trades once your known as a good lad that likes to earn a few quid an is hardworking there’s always work. Best interview I had if you can call it that was do you drink coffee an what’s your favourite biscuit! I still do work for that same firm today the guys I do work for are sound as a pound I can literally do as i please I look after my self get shit done for them an meet there contracts for them I’ve never had no problems with getting payed off them be it price work or day works what ever I put in I’m payed no questions asked i could easily be deceptive with gaining extra cash for work but I’ve no need to they price me really well. I’ve got a older brother who does factory work he’s the hardest working mother f****r i  know he’s a working machine he’ll do his factory job doing continental shifts then goes an does Amazon deliveries straight after finishing I’ve said to him you would make a killing in the building game your work ethic mental but I don’t think he wants a bit of cold in turn he’s settling for peanuts as pay for his hours of worked
