Jesus that looks like a fun day haha, might have a look for summit cheaper but nothing under 300 400 rlly

As others have said, fit & personal feel are more important than cost or make. If you swing one & it feels perfect, don't put it back on shelf because it's under 300 notes! Alternatively, tell shop you have to spend minimum of £300, sure they'll help part you of your cash!

Mine was the cheapest you will find...it was FREE ??

Yerr, I’ve recently had an Essex sbs given to me. Haven’t used it yet but it feels like it should be ok for me. Haven’t had an o/u for years and I don’t really like them anyway.

Over and under every day of the week, they are heavier than a side by side but absorb recoil far far better. I have shot tens of thousands of cartridges through my Beretta / Perazzi and Caesar Guerini guns which have done the job both on the clay grounds and out in the fields on live quarry.  The most important thing, as already stated, is to get sound advice from a 'GOOD' gun dealer and ideally one that is linked to a clay ground so you can try a few guns under a watchful eye to ensure gun fit is as good as possible otherwise it simply will not be right for you.

If you let us know where you live so we may be able to guide you to a good dealer / shooting ground.

One word of warning............ if you go to try your luck at a clay ground (you should) beware of the guy who is giving all kinds of advice but doesn't seem to hit so many targets himself, there is always one.
