Same with everything in life I can remember years ago when my youngest was about 7 or 8 years old and into his shooting, He got an invite via BASC young shots to a beagle meet. Drove him there, Meet at a pub, a few niceties then off to watch them hunt. all went very well, Afterwards back in the Pub car park, This very posh speaking gentleman came over to us and says to my lad, "You like to shoot then do you" Yes he replied, He then asks "And what do you like to shoot" Anything that moves was possibly not the best answer given the situation. I took my lurcher to one meet of beagles some women scoured at me and mumbled something along the lines of working lurchers are not welcome with them. As the huntsman came past he simply said if you get chance slip
