keeper was well annoyed  when he found out

Had same with mink hounds here mate .I was with the field and totally forgot about the one trap under a bank but hounds found it ?.They let it go and promptly went  down a rabbit hole not 4 m from the set .Hounds tore it up but didn’t find it .Reckon I caught same one two weeks later further up and that time it went no where ??

Out again Monday hopefully as good as today

I know I'm going to be unpopular  with this post, but to me its a fair enough letter. . The cops may be able to help in slowing traffic  or warn  motorists of a road hazard. You do get stray hounds on

Amazes me the stupidity of some people... trespassing to check a few holes...and not to notice the flashing of a trail camera but 10 feet from your head ? and more of the same sensationalised bollocks news reporting of badger baiting?...we are well and truly f****d..

Is there no decent footpacks to follow?

Got to be better than following the mounted packs.

What do you mean by foot packs private gun packs? Or beagle packs? If the second one some of them are worse then the mounted hunter ?

Think he means the gun packs

Gun packs aren't my thing bb so wouldn't know anything about them, if you want to watch hard hunting hounds around me then foot packs would be my choice.

Got to be a few registered foot packs in Wales bb?

I can remember years ago when my youngest was about 7 or 8 years old and into his shooting, He got an invite via BASC young shots to a beagle meet. Drove him there, Meet at a pub, a few niceties then off to watch them hunt. all went very well, Afterwards back in the Pub car park, This very posh speaking gentleman came over to us and says to my lad, "You like to shoot then do you" Yes he replied, He then asks "And what do you like to shoot" Anything that moves was possibly not the best answer given the situation. ?

If im honest if it wasn't for the terrierwork i would have never been interested in following hounds, as much as i can appreciate a good pack if they weren't puttin foxes to ground id be off looking for a dig.

I get out a few times a year with a well established gun pack, there's plenty of small foot packs in Wales, used to be involved with 1 years ago we had a few members and kept it all run correctly

I took my lurcher to one meet of beagles some women scoured at me and mumbled something along the lines of working lurchers are not welcome with them. As the huntsman came past he simply said if you get chance slip ?
