Personally, I  think you should never condemn anybody until  you've  walked  in their shoes. What happens to you in life is a mixture of choices and luck...good or bad. Some people make poor choices o

Was the Victor album I got.

Personal I think Kids get too much given to them these days. Think it's starts them on a path of wanting every think given to them not having earn it. We had f**k all and looking back a lot of parents were a bit naive having not long come back from war. Father liked the pub and the horses and wasted a lot of money, you could tell the smart parents didn't go out invested in the kids and car decorating etc. Be sent around next doors with a cup asking to borrow a cup of sugar till pay day. Having said that we weren't starving just never had f**k all. If I came home with a rabbit a swede or some turnip tops mum would smile. Different days no double glazing, no central heating, no hot water only the pot belly stove for heat and that heated the water but made the water brown with rust lol.

If I wanted something I had to earn it had two paper rounds in the morning, worked on a market garden weekends as soon as I was old enough to work. Left home when I was sixteen had to learn how to cook and manage money. Taught me I would never be like my parents yeah I would have a night out but not waste all the money there or in the bookies.

I just don't see the drive in the young these days to improve them selves not all obviously but a lot. A lot just seem happy to just survive. I see some friends of my youngest lad still in their first job in Morrisons after 20 years still stacking selfs, I suppose if there happy thats okay. I notice young families stacking the ready meals, crisps, chocolate in their baskets but no fresh veg or fruit nothing that has to be cooked up proper. Then on the way out of the super market the same people queuing to spend the last few quid on Lotto tickets and fags.

Cheers Arry

Nail on the head mate. They claim they are skint but feed kids on expensive ready meals and chicken nuggets full of shit, can’t knock up a heathy meal that feeds for days. I was brought up in poverty i think that makes you try your best to do well, I do get my kids stuff but still make them work for it. You go into a bar or decent place you got all the flash idiots giving it large at the bar, dressed up in all the gear, birds got the tan the lips, turns out they rent a flat. We live in a fake society now
