I think people are too quick to ask for money these days, a youngish chap  passed away near us recently and his 3 sons started a go fund me apeal ( give us your money ) for the dads furneral as they wanted to give him a good send off, the 3 sons were 25.23,21 years old ffs. I’d be fuking embarrassed asking for something so personal to be paid by others , surely it’s the boys duty to see thier old man put to bed. Probably cost them 1500 each ffs.

Some guy was stabbed in the neck with a bottle two weeks back just off Richmond Bridge, go fund page set up to give his child a decent Christmas has raised £120+k so far ?

Be sent around next doors with a cup asking to borrow a cup of sugar till pay day.

I remember the ignominy of being sent to the neighbours to borrow half a bar of soap or a cigarette or to the shop to get some bread on tick ?

For hungry kids i think the local community centres should be feeding them game, the tv chefs should be on promoting the health benefits of eating game and wild caught fish, they should be taught how to catch and cook it, times are a must now feck all the lefty bollix bla bla they should be shown the wild larder and feed themselves, it would help thin the deer population too

plenty going to waste being shot out in the countryside...and still plenty to eat from our rivers and coast, everything you need is around you, just got to harvest it?

I know there are a lot of wasters out there who would sooner spend their money on gear or flash phones etc and I also know there are people who would rather buy ready meals or takeaways than cook a decent meal from scratch and plan their weeks food properly when shopping but there is also a lot of decent people genuinly struggling atm.My girlfriend volunteers at her local foodbank once a week and says she has seen a massive increase in hardworking sensible people(nurses etc)coming in in the last 6months,Some of them have chatted to her about how they're struggling after paying all their bills but some sgmhe said are obviously embarassed about having to use a foodbank and just want to get their stuff and leave as quickly as possible.
