i am the undertaker 1
the jack russel club of great britain which was formed in the early 70s some of its members pushed for the jack russell to be k c registered they chose 50 odd dogs for the gene pool and from these 50 dogs came the parson jack russell which was then k c registered in amongst these dogs was a lot of lakeland type russells so really the only difference is parsons are registered but they have basically come from the same origins i have known people that have bought pedigree papers and registered their white lakelands as parsons Edited January 30, 2008 by i am the undertaker Quote Link to post
