 I remember he used to advertise Luke at stud in The Shooting News. Often advertised dogs or pups for sale.

I think he was jailed for selling dog medicines without any authority? Seemed very harsh. Never  met him but folk say he was OK.

He was defiantly a one man dog mate, Took a bloke off here roost pigeon shooting on the edge of a large wood, I said to him i will leave the dog "flash" and go for a walk about, all i could hear for about an hour was Bangs, when i got back dead pigeon's everywhere, I said why didn't you send the dog, He replied i tried but he wont f***ing move   i just said get on and he retrieved all of them

The bull/whippet bitch he came out of was the same his sire is the dark brindle dog at the top,

Dam to left with mask was put to a strong saluki bull Grey dog trev bred produced the big red dog with blade on face and the sand light bitch which was the best dog I've seen or owned.

Only spoke to him once over the phone when i asked him what line of saluki luke was out of he came across a character and was telling me about when he was gamekeeping for a wile in South Yorkshire.
