Mostly kennel mine but I like hanging out with them so they spend plenty of nights in the kitchen. The old dogs all move into the house when they start to look like they need it.

Chihuahuas were the first recorded pig dogs. Mexican explorers discovered them in the Andes where they were used to hunt guinea pigs. Some of the most fearsome chihuahuas gained horrendous scars on their muzzles as a result of ferocious encounters with gnarled old guinea pig boars. These specimens were highly prized by native Andean people and were often exhibited in specialist dog shows.The owner of the most marked up dog would be presented with a specially carved wooden phallus filled with a particularly potent homebrew. This was shared with the friends of the proud owner in a nasty display of homosexual bonding. Generally  the homebrew would induce terrifying hallucinations and provoke extremely violent behaviour amongst the bum boys. The brew is now known colloquially as " newcy brown."

The first known reference to chihuahuas occurs in the bible when Noah, that well known animal hoarder, describes how he booted two overboard.  Some say he screamed "fucketh off thou annoying yappy b*****ds" although this has  not been verified. Fortunately for the swimming chihuahuas, Noah lost his sandal when he launched the unfortunate, diminutive duo into the ocean and the little buggers climbed aboard the flipflop and were washed ashore in South America. All small, yappy shitehounds can trace their origins back to these two  canine irritants.

Chihuahuas occupy my thoughts a lot. My neighbour has five which periodically escape at the very moment I am enjoying my garden and gaining some respite from her indoors. They love to harry,bark and growl at me. Such fun. I would love to play hopscotch with them and flatten them one at a time with all my weight as I land. Alternatively, I dream of rugby tackling them and then launching them from my boot over the roof of my house in textbook rugby conversion fashion. One by f****n one.

I leave you with this thought. Amongst the canine world the Chihuahua is the most successful at turning good dog food into shit, whilst contributing f**k all, except to increase the blood pressure of all those in hearing distance of the poisonous runty dwarfs.
