Well soaked today, but in 3 HR saw one lone mountain biker so an enjoyable mooch the woods were more pleasant than sideways wind and rain on top . Saw a couple of cuckoo's , flew straight at me closest I've seen them. Odd squirrel and rabbit....

To add after speaking to @Arry I've discovered they were nightjars I saw not cuckoo's how cool is that...
