Today l  spent a few    hours on the bank . It was rather unexciting although a few small fish were daft enough to let me catch them

Smallest and daftest of the lot was this minnow that managed to get inside my feeder .

Greedy little bu99er. I hope that you put it to good use as perch / chub bait?

They used to knock the concave bottom out of wine bottles and use them as minnow traps in t'olden days. Good to see you embracing that new fangled feeder fishing Kev. You'll be looking at fixed spool reels next

Plastic pop bottles were good just cut the neck off it and put it on backwards couple of holes for water flow an string as a handle
