Officially in a Recession

Recommended Posts

I can only speak of the area i lived in and the same area i live in now but i honestly do not think this impeding recession will be any where near the devastation to the area as was caused by Thatcher and her government in the 80s with unemployment very high in south Yorkshire. 38 years ago looking back with Christmas on the horizon and not a pot to piss in was funny enough one of the best times of my life though it did help being able to get 3pound a brace for pheasants. lol

This is me in full “tin foil hat” mode mate but I think they know they are in deep shit with the electorate, so they will give everyone some really terrible pain way over proportion to the amount they think they are in trouble……then, a few months out from the election throw everyone a bone that people will be desperate and happy to grab.

I genuinely think they are just playing with peoples lives now, they ain’t even trying to hide it.

We have to start electing other people, even if that means coalition (which I don’t think would be a bad thing) and put these Labour and Tory traitors to bed once and for all.

Your tin foil hat is spot on mate, This government knows its dead in the water, with polls showing Labour miles ahead, There is only way out of this predicament with only 2 years left before the next general election and that is exactly what they are doing, Hammer the masses causing untold doom, gloom and misery, They have the perfect cover story for doing this in The war in Ukraine, Brexit and the cost of living crises. it is perfect timing some would think just to perfect! Then in a couple of years, chuck out the big carrot just before the election, Zero to Hero.

The thing that I was waiting for and the BIG difference between 1955 and today is the Regan period of deregulation……it’s what allowed them to sell junk bonds rated as AAA+ by Moodys and S&P and bet against those same bonds then walk away Scot free while we picked up the tab (still picking it up) !

That is the gaping hole in that testimony !

Just read an article about this supposed Egg shortage. Now this was written by an Egg producer. Basically this Egg shortage that's all over the news has only happened as the Big supermarkets will not pay the producers any extra money for there Eggs despite costs going up. The situation is so bad that British Suppliers are going out of business as supplying the supermarkets would mean selling there Eggs at less than cost , In the mean time the supermarkets are sourcing Eggs from over in Europe but these stocks are taking time to reach the supermarket shelves.

Again another manufactured crisis.

Time for egg producers to hand out boxes of eggs free outside supermarkets. It would only take a couple of days before the bad press caused a re-think.

Anybody who buys eggs in a shop round here is mental, there’s umpteen honesty boxes out side farms and small holdings all over the placeX an even a few spots that leave them free for any locals ?

Much the same here. in fact there's a table full of free bread and other Bakery products outside a house every morning in the next Village that's all for free or a donation to charity,
