Popular Post RossM 8,082
At the grand age of 2 and 2/3rds Jess caught her first rabbit and second. She’s well honed on the ferreting front which is what she primarily will be “but” itchy feet found me trying her on the lamp about a month a go and to put it bluntly she was horrific not watching the lamp and seeing nowt… tonight was a different story and you’d think she had done it for years. Conditions were shite nae wind and relativity light but I thought f**k it let’s see. Into the field and picked out a bunny and off she went, to be honest I don’t think she saw it and just went down the beam and stumbled across it, overshot it first of all and took it at the second time of asking in a tumble. Second rabbit was practically a mirror image of the first except she took it in a tumble aT first time of asking. chuffed chuffed chuffed to be honest 32 Quote Link to post

She’s been ferreting since she was was a pup, with regards to lamping I fell out of love with it when I lost my old dog a wee bit to be honest, 2 Quote Link to post
