This sort of thing never makes any sense... I'm sure the analogy has been used before... but a thief wouldn't be on FB boasting about the last house he robbed and sticking up pics of his swag..lol, so why would you go public on activities that are illegal? It makes no sense at all... you wouldn't even talk about it in everyday life, but happy to post pics and yap about illegal activities on open forums...mental

My cozen had his mint 40 year old cb250 nicked , next day some tosser on fb putting pics up look what I got last night etc my cozen got lads name gave to police n they said not enough evidence,,,,,,, he's on with trying to find address himself now

Contrary to what you might think there are police investigators trawling fb and the like and finding people bragging about doing burglaries or showing off stolen goods or drugs money. Same on ebay. Just before I retired in 2011 there was a case against virtually everybody who worked at a car dealership that came about via an ebay enquiry. Its being ongoing for years.

Did you hear about the scam in Barnsley where they sent fake lottery winning letters out to those wanted on warrants? Almost half turned up at the 'office' to claim their winnings.

Very much doubt anyone in the police would take an interest in a site like this. For one thing every force has their own intelligence department that is independent of others.  Most of the stuff on here for example is spread across the UK and Ireland. They would take ages reading through stuff that was no use to them. FB groups involving niche activities would be different, but here there is too much irrelevant schite to make it worth their while even now kd doesn't post any more 

I doubt that national organisations such as the RSPCA or anti-hunting groups would find anything on here useful to them. Same with journo's. They want it putting on their lap. They won't work for info'.

The sheer amount of information available now swamps the good stuff with useless stuff. Its not like on tv where they can zoom in on a cctv image and get the guy's phone number, birth sign and make of watch he's wearing. You ought to know that with your particular interest
