leegreen 2,173
Got a Lurcher bitch here with and ear infection. I've heard it called ear mites before, but I'm sure it's just an infection. Many would of come across it before, black stinky wax stuff. I've used antibiotic ear drops before, but wondered if anyone has any witchcraft business that will work? So far I haven't tried anything, as I only noticed it earlier when the bitch shook her head a couple of times. It's not that bad yet, so want to nip it in the bud. Salt water, spirit vinegar solution, etc etc. what do you know? If the antibiotic thing works, could some penicillin mix work, we have some here for the livestock. leegreen 2,173
Long eared dogs are prone to it, so are hairy dogs, I've also had it before in Bull dogs back in the day. The smell it produces is very bull breed like, cheesy kinda smell. Someone must know summit?

leegreen 2,173
I try the gently gently method first. The peroxide thing in the ear sounds serious.

leegreen 2,173
I got rid of it with a combination of cleaning with salt water, cotton buds and I dosed the dogs with Advocate over 3 months. The bitch in question was kept indoors to try to stop her scratching and I gave her antihistamine to help her with that. The scratching was a big problem.
