OldPhil 5,656
You are right there TOMO I reckon an interesting series of articles could be penned, on the subject of, 'strange and wonderous places that conies often inhabit'.... Me, and my ancient and retired crew, used to specialise in shifting rabbits (and foxes) that had taken up residence in the most unexpected locations,....the list is endless, and as you say, such jobs or sporting forays, really do make the hunting business, much more interesting... The one 8,463
Theres 4/5 next to the landscape big shed at our local sports ground always seems to be rabbits going to ground under them , I have often thought about it but never ferreted them as knowing my luck i would get a ferret killing a rabbit under one and they are just laying on the ground no raised up on anything 1 Quote Link to post

On the way out I went to the owner's house and caught a dozen under a container next to the house. I've seen this a few times, warrens near houses, I think the rabbits feel protected from foxes and other predators near homes, I don't know. A bit hard for you blokes who like to dig them though. toolebox 1,517
And halfway around the world it's no different, I wish I had a $ for every rabbit I've got out from under a shipping container, I'd retire and spend the rest of my days...... rabbiting ......hey wait a minute...... This lot came from under the two small hen coops in the background, last week .It does appear that rabbits are under something these days ,normally It's something big & too heavy to shift. "Bean" the dog is a great help, as now days I swear I'd trip on a bloody match stick. Edited November 17, 2022 by toolebox 2 Quote Link to post
