Qbgrey 4,207
Any Scot’s fellas suggest a nice coastline to look at. Nice fishing town / village not too quiet, nice fishing areas not too much of a shit hole , lots of boozers, tourists areas not a problem. If I sell up here may be looking at a second home/ base here . Any suggested areas to look out for. Bit of land would nt go a miss or even woodland with home. I’m easy pleased.

If you want to stay in the UK, Northern Ireland is also class mate…..and houses are cheap, they don’t have council tax they have rates which are also much cheaper. Wife’s been on about that, got friends moved thier and they love it. It’s making that leap, I’m not bothered about change in fact quite like it. It’s kids schools, friends etc and the fact that basically moving miles away you instantly become a nobody. By that I mean you got no contacts or back up with everything, here I can call any one for anything I need or help with anything. PArk tipper outside pub no one will steal out the back, if they do I will get it back , kids go out in town I will have mates thier that can look after them , wife gets a puncture and I’m not about one call to a mate who will recover vehicle etc, etc etc. I needed to get to the solicitors up town urgent last year a guy up the road landed his helicopter in my field a picked me up took me up.( shit myself) but very kind of him

People are sound, crime is nothing like the uk…..it’s still British people who are allowed to be British. I know where I live I have not locked my car or vans in 8 years…..you could literally walk up the town and leave your mobile and wallet on the dashboard, nobody would touch it. Can’t vouch that you will get a helicopter ride anywhere mind you ! Lol
