I miss the cows I used to look after/milk, I know it sounds pretty poofy haha but it was like having a few hundred mad dogs to deal with daily haha they kept me busy an paid my bills for years, was only joking earlier with missus saying how much I miss em, an might go get myself a few or find a farmer who wants a part time helper, I really enjoyed working with them haha I’d rather deal with a huge herd a cows than a shop full a folk or a factory full of coworkers, fcuk that must be hell on earth ??

Not sure what it like around you. But farmers desperate for help around here. Since my boss sold cows I get regular phone calls asking if I can give a hand even I was tempted to go self employed ?

Everyone's desperate for milkers down this end, my Mrs finally gave up her last farm 3 years ago, £40 a milking getting up at 4am?

Her last farmer rang up last week asking if she'd be willing just to fo a few a year to cover his holidays at £65 per milking?

She earns that these days every hour at most sweeping,  doesn't get kicked,  lagged in shit or get up before 7am

But....... we both still miss the cows ???

Nothing like toiling away in the sticky heat of a dusty factory 12 hours a day

As the local darkie gobshite uttered several times the other night with his booming hole, as he crunched past on his war torn looking push iron

I'm living the dream

Living the dream

I'm living the dream

Depends how long the milking are I suppose my boss was paying £40 for hour and a half’s work. 6am start. No scraping pushing cows etc. another farmer paying 120 for a 6 hour milking. I know which one I would rather do ?
