Nothing like the sheep's head rising through the froth and the eyeball glaring at you. ???

You guys are right,.. the raw meat situation has definitely spiralled out of control? Most Butchers nowadays , have chosen to sell their scrap meat for dog food, and process everything into 'pet

I personally think raw feed prices have gone mental I used to pretty much fill two chess freezers for £80 of a good mix of raw foods I used to buy in as it was all waist products it was cheap as chips

Maybe , maybe not …. My thoughts are ….If it makes old bones and has a healthy life , give it mars bars if it’s happy and it works (not recommended)…. I give raw now (last 19 yrs) because I’ve had  dogs with wheat allergies and if I have to pick up poo I prefer it to be non messy and smelly and less of it , which I find to be the case with a raw diet and it’s easy to Mix it around with different meats for variety without upsetting a dogs stomach. Just my preference and i enjoy watching them eat non processed foods ?

Love feeding raw watching them eat sat in the filed with mine now watching them eating salmon heads deer liver and Hart's pile of chicken drumsticks for breakfast can't beet raw fed it to mine close on 30 years

got wormers on order now....cos two of um got worms....mind that was from either the raw beef and offal or hares....or of course from God knows where....occupational hazard feeding raw....

if anybody if paying more than £2 a kilo....then your better off buying chicken wings...or legs from aldi or lidle cos there only that price

I just got 10kg  of chicken legs an nearly a kg of sardines for 25quid in sainsbury.

Be interesting to find out how much people feed a day, depending on the size of the dog,my two lurchers are 27 an 28 kg in weight,so I'd give a kg in chicken an two tins of sardines a day.

I personally think raw feed prices have gone mental I used to pretty much fill two chess freezers for £80 of a good mix of raw foods I used to buy in as it was all waist products it was cheap as chips then everyone (the pet market) jumped on the raw feed band wagon an drove the prices up to a extent that shit they couldn’t give a way now cost a premium some of the stuff now it’s cheaper to buy human grade stuff I now longer run big freezers for dog foods I no longer keep multiple dogs so I no longer have to keep a stock of raw I buy just a bit of green tripe now I take a couple of fallen old breeding ewes of a local farmer long as there’s no meds in them I also get a few cockerels a year that I process for the dogs. I feed kitchen scraps as well but noticed biscuits prices have gone up again went an picked a bag of skinners up Saturday £27.99 used to be 19.99 a bag I’m glad I no longer keep multiple dogs anymore an just have one or two kicking about with todays prices

used to feed 5/6 terriers and 2 runners for about £2:50/£3:00 per day...that's doubled easy since start of the yr,was paying 70/80 p per pound of various minced raw, same stuff is £1:25 a block now...and I've noticed the quantity slipping, stop stocking certain stuff everything is geared towards the furmummies who will spend what ever ? supermarket only knocking a few pence of stuff,no more bargains to be had  ?
