Just seen on the news the government are looking at doing a Swissstyle deal with the EU which will allow free movement if it comes off the referendum vote was a complete waste of time.

I seen that too a couple of days ago but didn’t bother to make comment about it because I just didn’t think it was worth it…….it’s just part of why they (government and markets) are torturing the f***ing life out of people, they want us back in !

I agree, but that only matters if Labour are any different and 70 years of proof says they ain’t…..the rosette colours are different, the politics is the same.

It's a SWISS style agreement, not SWEDISH, which is Brexit in name only.

Rejoining the single market.

Freedom of movement.

Accepting all laws and rules made by the EU.

Accepting the EU Courts jurisdiction.

Paying into the EU.

Only difference is the UK wouldn't have a seat at the table, and no say in any decisions.

It would be the first step to rejoining..........

At the end of this little turnout people will be willing to vote for almost anything as long as they make the pain stop…..freedom, primacy of the nation state, low immigration, destruction of communities will all come way down the list compared to cheap credit, cheap mortgage rates and 2 weeks in Benidorm !

If you look at the EU Swiss agreement there is little of that. Free movement of goods between the EU and  non EU country  i.e. Switzerland, has been going on for years yet they say it can't be done regards Ireland. As regards the rest, the Swiss have their own protocols and are resisting closer intigration with the EU.

If they'd thought we would vote to leave there wouldn't have been a vote on the matter. It quite simply was never meant to happen and the powers that be have been doing everything in their power to punish us ever since.

They have free movement of people and are part of Shengen.

They also pay around £1B a year to the EU.

They want every agreement to be bespoke, but the EU wants a "one size fits all", ( read "all" to mean it fits the EU ! ).

You can't give up bits of your sovereignty to the EU......they want it all.

With the Swiss backing out, Sweden seriously considering a Swexit vote and the paymasters, Germany in recession things aren't tickety boo in  Brussels.
