I dropped my missus at an out of town shopping mall today and parked up next to a rusty old ford to wait for her.

A few minutes later, three men appeared and opened the tailgate. They had that swarthy, "Balkan war criminal" look about them and they all took cans of those mixed drinks, you know the stuff, Jim Beam coke, etc, out of the pockets of their leather jackets and stood around drinking, talking and smoking. Albanians ? Romanians ? Who knows.

A few minutes later a group of women turned up. Dressed like old gypsy women, they looked like they had just come from a Roma camp in Kazakhstan!

They emptied their bags and pockets into the back of the car, then the men sent them away again.

I wonder what they could have been up to.........

Borneo is basically a pinoy restaurant, the staff were from zambo and I ordered a coffee in chavacano which surprised them, they took me into the kitchen and introduced me to the chef as he was also from zamboanga, can't remember his name though. The restaurant has had some bad luck the past few years, burnt down, rebuilt and renovated then a car was driven through the front
