Unbelievable quality, what camera and lens mate, I'd love a top quality camera if I could justify spending a few grand on one.

I think that was with a 5D mkiii and a 70 - 200 f2,8 L series lens

I once landed a brown trout about half a pound, got it onto the grass when a weasel rushed in and seized it. I shouted at it and it backed off. Got the hook out and released the fish in shallow water, only for the weasel to rush in, grab the trout and disappear into the undergrowth with it.

Another time I was in a pigeon hide. I had a massive hangover, there was no action, so I fell asleep. Woke up to find a stoat exploring the sandwiches in my bag.

I was bream fishing at a gravel pit a couple of months ago, left my peg to have a piss and have a quick word with my mate in the next peg, 10 mins max. when i got back there was 2 crows on my bait tray, They had trashed my bait tray, they had open my bag pulled out my lunchbox that was now at the waters edged. had a tub of spare worms out and smashed through the plastic top, all my bags of dead red maggots had been ransacked and dead maggots everywhere, Then to top it all one had shit all over my seat.

The last two ain't your old stamping ground. Venice and Greek Island?

We used to go to Venice every year. I have loads of photos on slides that I have never converted to digital files. Some were sold to an image library. The cyclamen are on the Akamas peninsular in Cyprus. We had an apartment in Polis for around 12 years. Again loads of slides in the basement, mainly of orchids that we used to hunt out in spring.

My username was taken from a website I had. I sold photos to image libraries and magazines. In 2006 I sustained a serious eye injury on my viewfinder eye. I couldn't use a camera for over two years so I sold up. Fortunately it was just before film equipment crashed in price. Now I just use my phone to take most pics and an old bridge camera for the birdy shots.
