I can't remember a time when so many people are on edge. Covid,Ukraine, the cost of living crisis, job insecurity, energy uncertainty and the fact that we have no confidence in the political system, all contribute to a stressed out nation. That has an effect on people's ability to cope with infection. Not my idle opinion, but the opinion of qualified medics. I am not suggesting that stress is the cause of any particular individuals problem, just making a general observation. Who’s the specialist now

Don't think any of your listed stresses effect her....she wouldn't have a clue about stories in the news and cost of living is just how much cash I give her to lunch with her rich/lazy mates But I definitely agree with your point

Born Hunter 17,798
Chronic fatigue syndrome? Dated a girl with it years ago. I think the worst aspect of it is not being able to explain to people why you’re having to cancel plans because most people don’t understand. I think that psychological aspect is the worst part. Takes a lot of understanding from friends and family.

DIDO.1 22,845
Trying to make a private neurologist appointment .....soonest I can find, paying private, is 22nd of December! Even private health care providers are not answering their calls they are so busy. Phoned an ambulance last night and they said 4hrs , then phoned and said another 4hrs. Jobs fcked. I genuinely think within the next 2 years the whole system is going to crack. All we need is those internet cables cut and the entire country will collapse.
