My understanding is; way back in history, starting with the Romans, only Emporers and family were allowed to wear purple robes, this morphed into royalty and aristocracy being called "blue blooded", clothes being called. "Royal Blue", etc.

Now, "bred in the purple" simply means "bred from the best" ?

Cheers.

That’s great knowledge mate , I like reading stuff like that

Just leave the bloke alone now boys, he ain’t here, it’s better for it imho but at the same token it ain’t right to be discussing the bloke either. We all know the crack, let’s move on….jmho

The little brown runner, I paid £2.50 for, just wanted to kill everything and did, was only small but kill fox’s feral cats in seconds even dug a few pigs with her, bit hard mouthed for selling rabbit

Lads personally for me , as much as I like to wind max up and antagonise him into a bite for a five minute giggle .

the geezer is a dog lad , who can clearly keep his dogs in good clip , and although his litter seems a bit unsuited to Most these days , he’s pushing out working types at a decent price there .

the man deserves to go about his business unhindered unbothered , it would be poor form as I think personally max has a few issues there unspoken , manging on his obviously running bred pups were something else seems a bit strange for me , especially when they are from a line relatively local and well known in his area which you’d think he’d be the type to crow about .

the mush has been asked before ti write about his greyhound experiences etc and instead chooses to launch nonsense tirades .

I hope for one , he comes back rested and relaxed and maybe he’ll be more open to others crack .

good luck to him

how would you or stiff both lads that haven’t had a running dog in how many years ? know what type would suit most these days

The fact is just been overhauled and the pups are nearly full coursing bred saluki might be an Indicator.

not every lurcher lad wants a pure bred runner , especially in the current climate . You have to really want a saluki saturated type imho but anyway as you seem intent on reading a post wishing the lad luck and picking up in the tiniest of moot points . I shall bid thee farewell Lone Ranger
