As men and women that spend a lot of time in the country side day and night has anyone ever sighted a” large wild cat” …… lots of sightings lately …. Think I’d leave a few bricks in my pants if I shone a lamp on one ?

No i have never come across any big cat though year's ago a big circus used to come to Clifton park in Rotherham and after finishing afters at the pit i would exercise my two lurchers in the park taking the lamp one night when the circus was their i lit up the trailer cage a few lion's we're in after hearing their roar that would send a shiver down the spine of the bravest of men and my two lurchers did not look to happy either sticking to me like Velcro.

Ha ha. I once spent a  brilliant day at Marwell zoo. The Mrs was shopping so I watched cheetah cubs and snow leopards cubs all afternoon. When I had to leave it was feeding time for the big cats. I walked down a path with roaring big cats on both sides of me. The combination of light fading, being on my own and the incessant roaring really scared the shit out of me. I was really shaken by the time I got out. I remember the hair on my neck and arms were standing to attention, just like a frightened cat.

I've been spooked lamping at night, especially after watching a horror film, but never as spooked as that day.

A few points here. If lets say someone did shoot one, Would they tell anyone as they would be likely to be in breech of the conditions that there license was issued under? If They did go to the authorities, would the authorities want this to get out to the general public? Would it all be covered up for the sake of public safety? would the police and the EA be complicit in any cover up?, All pre loaded questions as i know the answers already.
