Alright mate well have been thinking about it for a while but have decided to give it a go after all I’m in the most prolific county in the uk surrounded by roman settlements etc, so my question and you have answered this in the past but I can’t remember, am after a decent entry level detector you recommended a garmin in the past but I can’t remember the model

I would have said a Minelab Equinox 540 its what I started with easy to use. It come with headphones that are wired I found upgrading to Bluetooth headphones a godsend as you don't have to take the head phones off to dig. Also you a probe is almost a must.

You are buying a 50" Aluminum Folding Sluice Box. Folds down to 15". 9-1/4" wide. Walls 2-1/2" 13-1/4" Flange.

You can get some good little set ups for couple of hundred 👍

There’s a mush on YouTube pans for gold in the uk and uses a little sluice like that finds quite a bit of very fine gold in the black sand patch’s on beach,s worth looking if your interested
