wonder if they where all lost together ?

Its next to a main road and they took out a hedge and widened the road opposite. I think all the spoil was dumped in the boggy part of this field so I don't think they were lost where I found them. That part of the main road is old I have found that on old maps.

But yes classed as a purse loss so have reported to the finds people got a meeting on the 7th or Jan.

Was buzzing Walt went back the next day dug the hole out again and took another spit out deeper just in case

The small Henry is very brittle and falling apart.

Was deep Mac 10 inches or a foot, took the plug out and an extra spit under that. I was surprised but nice damp area of the field.

Was trying a new program to get a bit deeper and it did but I ended up digging more iron.

Dug these interesting old horse shoes that look like they got some age to them. Think they are medieval or post medieval.

If any body has more info please tell.

Key hole horse shoe.
