Arry 21,876
Out today few bit and pieces. Think this is a hammered Nuremberg Jeton 16th Century. Don't know what this is maybe lead alloy got some detail on one side. Then this strange object it seems to have a lead diamond shape like a plaque attached to pottery. Any ideas guys ??? Nokta Makro Simplex+ Waterproof Metal Detector Expand Can't speak on the Simplex Coywolf but I can recommend the Minelab Vanquish 540 which I started with two years ago. To be fare it don't miss much it's not waterproof but up to now I don't detect in the rain. The coil and shaft are waterproof just not the machine part so fine for the beach. It's very very easy to use just switch on and go. Just up graded to a Minelab Equinox 800 (waterproof)which is better but a lot more complicated, still getting my head around it. Couldn't turn it down second hand only used three times half price. Lot of people like the Garret 250. Cheers Arry

DIDO.1 22,833
Found this just across the river from a Roman settlement. Is it semi modern or does it have some real age to it? Some sort of drain?
Arry 21,876
Well My first bit of Gold A ladies Majex cocktail watch think it's 9ct. The strap unfortunately is just plated. Encouraging though been a long wait for some rain to make the ground damp again. Cheers Arry
DIDO.1 22,833
I don't have a detector at the minute. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to buy a new detector, a first world war trench knife or an SS officers sword
