darkwood 41
Hi folks, I've just found out about the benefits of nettle and rosehip tea,I would like to store enough to last until the next harvest, any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks
paulus 26
Google says To store your dried stinging nettle, keep the leaves and stems in big pieces to retain as much flavor and essential oils as possible. Store in paper bags or glass jars (avoid plastic bags as they may lead to condensation). Store in a cool, dark, dry place where temperatures are consistent. Use within 6-12 months
darkwood 41
Thanks Paulus that sounds simple enough, my intention is to make asort of half rosehip half nettle dried mixture for making tea, most suggestions for drying rosehip involves dehydrators or 7 hours in the oven being a cheapskate I would like to try alternatives

darkwood 41
Yes you can, but I would rather just have a tea caddy full of dried nettles, so I can simply make a cup each morning
