I read that she had resigned and had a snipe at Truss in her resignation letter. Guido Fawkes, Order, Order web site. They are reporting she was about to go " off reservation" and Hunt wanted her sacked. The Mail is reporting she "quit"; their parentheses, not mine Cheers.

But in the case of certain individuals, I can appreciate them as a necessary fashion accessory.

chartpolski 25,162
Tory Chief Whip has just resigned........in the middle of a crucial vote in parliament on fracking. Government had applied a hard, three line Whip, but it appears the MP' s have revolted. It looks like end of days for the Tory's.....what's the betting on a General Election , sooner rather than later, and a landslide for Labour ? C'mon Nigel, make up with Tice, take control of the Reform Party and get out canvassing for votes ! Cheers. Edited October 19, 2022 by chartpolski
socks 32,253
All the fringe right wing parties are talking except for Tice. His arrogance is astounding.

I will say it again what difference to anyone's day to day life will labour or the tories make a difference to. 1
sandymere 8,263
Farage can't win, he proved that a number of times inspite of getting more votes in total than other parties who did get MPs in parliament. He is a niche vote. The only way he and other similar parties will get a voice in parliament is through a proportional voting system. So if in the longer term you want Farage and similar to have a voice in parliament vote for a party that supports proportional representation at the next election. Then you can vote for a smaller party at every election afterwards.

Once they are in they will want to stay in, they are never giving people PR, not in a million years. jmho Nope, the only way is to vote honestly the first time and hope !

Aled 521
Sounds like Farrage is supporting PR in this video, or have I misunderstood? He definately says "smash the First past the post" Edited October 20, 2022 by Aled
Lenmcharristar 9,960
We need farrage, the mogg and braverman to work together and take over in government, they would bring in a proper party for the majority who are not being represented at this moment in time, labour and tories are both working for the left and elitist nwo, the majority of brits dont want that, at the min the remainers are running our nations into the ground, they do not do the will of the people
