Been out motor 10 mins and a dog walker , then a cyclist , then a jogger. Bagged 1 Maggie , but no pic as couldn’t retrieve it from the cover. Got a new little wasp apex frame. Love it , cheap and shoots nice. Wrapped the morning up with a quick play with the compound bow in the quarry . All in all an enjoyable morning. Ordered one of these mate would you advise putting the tape around the handle and fork.

tatsblisters 9,748
Not long since it arrived and banded it up and had a few shots in the garden. Well impressed and same as a chap on a YouTube channel said you would need a truck to pull it out of your hand. I can't wait to have a mooch around the woods in the morning and have more shots with it but up to now it's another cracking well made frame from Wasp slingshots that doesn't break the bank cost wise. 3

Had quite a few shots this morning though non on live quarry. Pretty impressed with the frame tbh though i have never shot this style of catapult often. I might try some lighter bands on it at the weekend and see how it goes.
oxo 449
Enjoying the Apex so I bought one from John Jeffries 85mm this time. Just picked it up from the post office. I did ask if they can be repaired after a fork hit and he said most times. Never hit the wasp apex so fingers crossed I don't f**k it up. 2

tatsblisters 9,748
Just been looking at the John Jeffries range of catapults they are works of Art and if I had one I think I would be the same in not wanting to use it for fear of fork hits or loosing it.

Mr Wilkes 2,992
Cheers Fred, she's not bad. A tad hard with what she gets hold of but it's fetched back.
fred90 3,231
mine is very hard mouthed, this is the only time of year she keeps any weight on, she's lightly built but doesn't lack stamina.

Very nice, I stuck a set of tubes on a pocket predator topshot because I was sick of flatbands vibrating in all the wind we've had. Couldn't hit a barndoor with them
Mr Wilkes 2,992
I was same oxo , I just kept shortening tubes . The nearer to max you can get em the more powerful and accurate they are.
