Yes mate I keep a pack in my backpack for various reasons including emergency repairs, I shoot quite long elastics so it one snaps I just shorten the other one to the same length and stick a cable tie on, you would think they would cut the elastic but they work fine and last as long as wrapping does

Last lot i got were from bearing warehouse though balls of steel Reece Sayers is highly recomended for ammo.

I paid 20 pounds for 340 10mm lead balls of him. He has an ebay account mate. I have just looked on his eBay page and it does not look like he does 8mm lead ammo.

I only ordered once off him and he put the wrong house number on and it was a nosey neighbour who took it in and I found it slightly opened obviously by her. She was the last person I would want to know why I was ordering steel ball bearings.

thanks bud I will just stick with the guy I get them from then. being honest I really only use 8.7mm steels I just like the 8.4mm leads in ruff cover at the start of the season they don't ricochet as easy as steels if they hit a bit bramble of a hedge or that

I was using 11mm steel but I can't get them at a good enough price anymore . So I decided to bite the bullet and make my own lead 9.5mm.. the fly true and hit like a truck

The 11mm steel's are not cheap I have just ordered 1500 at 47 pounds off ebay.
