Mackem? You’re bound to have had a coffee with someone in the know! There’s a documentary , for the life of me , I can’t remember it’s f***ing name , i want to say the interstate killer , but it isn’t as I’ve just google checked, it’s the Long Island killer . It stemmed from bodies all being found on a highway in obviously Long Island , one was discovered , think they found 5 in the same stretch . Anyway there’s been a few survivors, escorts attacked etc , no one has been arrested , middle aged affluent white male I think . It’s chilling to think that people like that aren’t the result of film makers imaginations or not that common. There’s currently 9 operating serial killers at large in the us. edited to add , that serial killing by and large is committed against women for obvious reasons by male offenders . Figures are generally low . Makes you think that there are organised crime figures in the penitentiary system with dozens of lives on their hands . do these people quantify the title of serial killer ?? I would say yes .

There's a serial killer/killers hunting Mexican border towns like juarez, pop over from North of the border, single out a victim, then head north again out of Mexican juristiction.

How you spend your own sunday afternoons is ye own business So, a 'Serial Killer' is one who pops three or more. But, not all at once. That'd be a Spree Killer. And we have a Serial Killer popping down to Mexico for his jollies. And that's " Terrifying ". Why, though? To us, most especially. He's just a 'Hunter', 'Hunting'. He has his reasons. He Likes what he does. He's killing. So?
WILF 47,921
I read heavily as a young man about monsters, Kemper, Gein, Lucas….the list went on and on…..it’s fascinating but ultimately disturbing. We have a compulsion to try and “understand” these people but I came to the conclusion you just can’t…..the normal human mind just isn’t equipped and after a while it’s eats at you. We can no more understand these people than we can speak “tree” or “Frog”. I stopped reading after a few years, it just makes you feel bad.

A fella I used to know, in his 70s now, told me a story about coming home from the pub one night with mates. They were driving a country lane in Notts and passed some randomer walking in the dark. One of them suggested murdering this stranger, for obvious reasons of there being absolutely no evidence really connecting them. The others laughed it off until he dropped it and nothing happened but the old boy who was recounting it said it sent shivers through him because he absolutely believed the psycho was up for it. Now whether or not that tale is true, these people exist, and the only thing stopping (some of) them is normal folks making them think their urges are condemnable. Controversial I tend to think there’s a monster in all of us and it’s largely social conditioning that buries it. 1

It's beyond doubt that everyone has a dark side ,is capable given the right circumstances of the most heinous acts ,reading Nietzsche will convince you of this ,but it's an accepted truism by any creditable psychologist...... "If the branches of a tree are to reach heaven ,the roots must go all the way down to hell " I like Nietzsche, any one who espouses Ubermensch and nihilism gets my vote ! I knew an old retired airline pilot, who studied Nietzsche, he wrote a book called " In Defence Of Moral Hedonism " , heavily influenced by Nietzsche, he gifted me the origional manuscript. He told me he was the first to cross the Rub Al Kalil single handed. When I pointed out that Burton had done it years before, he said "Ah, but he rode camels, I walked " ! He was last heard of sailing single handed from the Red Sea port of Jeddah to an island he owned in the Philippines at the age of 80, to start some sort of commune. I don't know if he made it, I like to think so. An adventurer, an intellectual thinker, a dying breed, sadly. Cheers. 1

You got much on, Sid? well to tell the truth ken i'm waiting on a video been sent to me by my buddy he took it earlier today says its the biggest crayfish he's ever seen, its got me thinking if i get an old bath tub and some vegetation in it some gravel and rocks get a little cray fish and feed it with good crayfish food to see how big it gets, now would need to take into account that it maybe male in that case i would look for a fair size verging on a small lobster where as a female will not get near that size, funny you talking about pallets and sacks i just collected 50 clean coffee bean sacks, i might use them for bedding for the dogs. just had another thought i would have to get a little pump to keep things fresh goodness this venture could be a goer as a crayfish farm or maybe not as they're on the not wanted here list.anyway it will have to wait as i lost the last chicken to mr fox a few weeks ago and i'm racking the little brains i have to find a way to keep them safe yet free range.
