Not to worry, the speed limit is 20mph and it costs you £25 to drive into London, stop where that video is for 2 minutes and traffic wardens will be all over you to rinse you for another £70 directed by CCTV…..so we can all sleep safe !

Those in power and authority do not give a f**k about the rise in knife crime especially when you see cases like the company director in South Yorkshire getting jailed for 60 months for fiddling his tax returns and then another lad who nearly killed another lad around here by stabbing him in his neck after they were arguing over a scrap collection only got 24 months.

Yes it's become commonplace now. You never know what some fecker might be carrying. Knife attacks on cops are standard. Should be a minimum custodial for first offence of carrying a knife. Its no use jailing somebody who has already used a knife.

I have heard of a few youth's from around here just getting a slap on the hand and not for carrying a small pocket knife the daughter's neighbour an half Arab stabbed the son in law with a small knife after he got him on the floor after a row he was not even charged though the scumbag is up in court next week after he hospitalised a police woman so to me in a nutshell the law did not give a feck about him using a knife on an honest working bloke .

Problem isthe jails are full and there are lots of other worthy contenders to fill any vacant cells. The whole issue of crime prevention is to have a meaningful deterrent, a realistic chance of being caught and  realistic chance of being properly convicted. None of those things are in place.

When you think of all the enhancements avaiable to the modern police; dna, cctv, mobile phone mapping, you have to question why the detection rate is so low? The answer is that for every improvement made availabe regards detections, the government put another obstacle in the way to balance it out.

At the risk of sounding like one of our many conspiricy theorists my opinion is that the government willingly tolerate a certain level of crime in order to boost the economy. The balance is kept in place by tweaking laws and police procedures so that the posh people don't suufer too much and the cost of the Criminal Justice System isn't too high.

I carry a few decent sized knives with me everyday and everywhere I go, in my pocket and van, I don’t have any intention to stab anyone unless I was under attack so why should I be jailed for the action of some uncivilised youths actions miles away, if you do stick a blade in someone it is an attempted murder for which we have sufficient laws to cover so just enforce the law and stop asking for more unforced law that one day will bite you on the arse, WE DONT NEED MORE LAWS ?
