Ken's Deputy 4,460
Bit pricey, for my tastes. Wouldn't have minded one otherwise. Though, as I said to a lady, the other day ~ she was asking me why I didn't get a bike, to ride into town. Getting brought home in a jeep. Bike and shopping in the back? Normal bike's absolutely out of the question, now. I'll get a hip replacement before I get another bike And, that thing looks a bit much to pick up and chuck in a jeep. I imagine they do drag alongs for them? Again though, all a bit rich for my palette, these days. Lucky fukka!
Nicepix 5,650
I think it won't be long before electric bikes are licenced and subject to compulsory insurance. Certainly for those more powerful ones. We were walking into a small town the other day while on holiday and a group of over twenty riders came past all riding Velox bikes. These are basically ordinary bikes from the 1950s to 60s with a small 2 stroke motor mounted on the stem. The motor drives the bike's front wheel, direct drive onto the tyre. They were wizzing along at about 30mph with very little engine noise.
borderboy 80
Bloody kids on the Sur-Ron’s are a bit of a pain in the arse around here. Always had kids riding motorbikes around out the back here where I walk the dogs. You could hear when they were out and give it a miss, but on the bloody electric ones they are on top of you before you know it. look like a laugh though!
