The one 8,507
Watching Yukon men and the last Alaskains they talk of cutting a trapline 10 to 15 miles long . But they never mention how many traps they put out one every 250 mtrs or 500 mtrs be a good few traps needed Quote Link to post
The one 8,507
Aye watched one today they got 3 trails cut and check them in turn but i was thinking that could be 1000+ traps Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
It will all depend on what signs their seeing and what they are trapping. If there’s Martin tracks everywhere then I should think that area would be trap heavy. If there’s one area where a wolverine is spotted then there will be less Martin so probably just one or two traps to target the wolverine. It’s the same as us with snaring you wouldn’t put snares out without seeing well used runs. Quote Link to post
