A true friend of the countryside and everything involved with it

Well played old girl ,  The lads will never forget you.  it was an honour .

Literally toilet humour again .    And why do you think it went like clock work and immaculately ? Cause the armed forces ran the gaff , not some panel of industry jostling for position.

I'm sure you know, mate, I'm not a "conformist", but when some shithouse complains about the cost of burying our queen, wether you agree with the monarchy or not, sticks in my craw.

You and I , I'm quite convinced, have seen, and know more of the world than these internet experts who's only knowledge is gained on google, YouTube and Wikipedia.

Maybe I'm getting a bit too emotional, I blame the bottle of home made plum vodka ! ??

Cheers.

Canny showing of sloes this year, this is on Laverock road, just looking at it makes me feel like I've drunk a bottle of home made plum vodka

i disagree

he was leading member in the ira a terrorist wasn’t he ?

reaponsible for killing hundreds a british troop bombing city’s in the uk manchester etc same as the the one planted the bomb killed mountabatten and youngster released under the good friday agreement

just shows weakness really

You couldn’t be more wrong if you tried mate to be honest . I have more than a passing interest in the topic , McGuiness was a Sinn Fein man , a provisional commander in Derry , none of the attacks you mentioned would have been ratified by him as they were in the main committed by the south Armagh active service unit who basically did what the f**k they wanted , whenever .

when they’re commander , Thomas Murphy was in charge of the council , he was removed / wrested from power by the likes of mcguiness as he was a complete psychopath . Most of the dissident republican fractions , the real , the official , were birthed from the SA ASU as they didn’t recognise the ceasefire . Manchester , warrenpoint , docklands , Mountbatten , Omagh , kingsmill , Miami show band were all committed by the s a ASU including the Armagh sniper campaign led by dessy O hare and the carraghers .

mcguiness stood in the way of that and should rightly be remembered as a man who led the north’s change alongside the unionists . A legacy that should be feted imho .

but hey , that’s enough if that for today

it isn’t though, it’s the opposite of simple

the alternative was that a wild dog called Thomas Murphy was in charge . A man who once machine gunned a van full of civilians and went home to milk his cows . Commander of a unit that deliberately herded civilians to a city centre bomb .  do you reckon that pans out dealing with him politically as opposed to more urbane Sinn Fein men like adams and mcGuinness ??

i wouldn’t deal with any of them

what about mcguinnes dragging a man out his house and using  him as a human bomb to kill 5 british troops ?
