You and I , I'm quite convinced, have seen, and know more of the world than these internet experts who's only knowledge is gained on google, YouTube and Wikipedia. Maybe I'm getting a bit too emotional, I blame the bottle of home made plum vodka ! Cheers. Canny showing of sloes this year, this is on Laverock road, just looking at it makes me feel like I've drunk a bottle of home made plum vodka

I have more than a passing interest in the topic , McGuiness was a Sinn Fein man , a provisional commander in Derry , none of the attacks you mentioned would have been ratified by him as they were in the main committed by the south Armagh active service unit who basically did what the f**k they wanted , whenever . when they’re commander , Thomas Murphy was in charge of the council , he was removed / wrested from power by the likes of mcguiness as he was a complete psychopath . Most of the dissident republican fractions , the real , the official , were birthed from the SA ASU as they didn’t recognise the ceasefire . Manchester , warrenpoint , docklands , Mountbatten , Omagh , kingsmill , Miami show band were all committed by the s a ASU including the Armagh sniper campaign led by dessy O hare and the carraghers . mcguiness stood in the way of that and should rightly be remembered as a man who led the north’s change alongside the unionists . A legacy that should be feted imho . but hey , that’s enough if that for today
